October 2010 THMQ market
Market Analysis:
Kush took the top pot spot in October, once again edging out both Diesel and Purps in the total number of submissions. Interestingly, the top five submitted strains of the month are the very same strains - in the very same order - as September’s top five. However, most of the top five strains dropped in average price (the only exceptions were Purps and Trainwreck), with Kush and Haze experiencing the biggest average price drops from September (Kush, -$44; Haze, -$41). The top five submitted strains (with average price) were Kush ($373), Diesel ($407), Purps ($384), Haze ($322) and Trainwreck ($356).
Index Watch: It’s a buyer’s market! All indices finished below their previous-month and year-to-date averages, with the US Price Index dropping $49 from September.
CURRENT SCHWAG INDEX ($1–$149 PER OZ): $84 ($100, $95)
